STORY TELLER: LATRELL JENNINGS. In West Virginia, firefighters have been busy battling a fire... for over a week. 8 days to be exact. This 420,000-foot warehouse fire started October 21st, and Virginia firefighters have been working non-stop to put out such a large fire. This property belonged to a Columbia-based company by the name "Intercontinental Export Import Inc." which buys and sells recycled plastic. TrendNation doesn't have much information on this story, but the state Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety was finally put out Midday Sunday (October 29th) but no specific time was said. Investigation and close monitoring will continue over the next 2 days after the fire started October 21st. This warehouse has been through numerous violations overtime. In 2008, 2 volunteering firefighters had already mentioned that this building had the potential of a possible fire. But the company waived it off. This story is still ongoing and more investigation has to go into this. TrendNation will report back on this manner as more information is provided and confirmed with further research.
