Sticking your head in books, constantly doing projects, and being stressed out the whole time while being in debt afterwards doesn't mean you'll be successful. Society has this mindset that you have to go to college to be successful, and if you don't, you'll end up being broke, and nowhere near successful. And that's no where true. You don't need to invest all of your time into college to be successful. And I'll tell you why... Your parents and other people have probably told you time and time again that you absolutely have to go to college if you want to be successful. Why do people tell you these things? Because their ancestors have probably told them the same thing, and now it's baked into people's heads that college is the only way. People even go as far as to judge other people if they don't go. But don't let that be the reason you want to go. If someone asks you if you're going to college and you say no, and they ask why, you can tell them why if you're comfortable with it. But don't let their lecture of why you absolutely need to go to college change your decision. Your decision is your decision. While this may have been true 10-20 years ago, these days we have a lot more opportunities than we have ever had. You can make YouTube videos and be successful if you put in the time and effort. You can start your own business. And you can do all of that, and if you're not happy with what you're doing, change your career. People also ask you what you want to do for the rest of your, but what if you start doing something and you decide later on you want to do something else? There's nothing wrong with changing your career. More businesses are not even requiring a college degree, and there's plenty of people who are successful and didn't go to college. Ellen DeGeneres from the Ellon Show and Steve Jobs (creator of Apple) either dropped out of college, or didn't go to college at all. And companies such as Google and Tesla (with Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO even going as far as saying that college is useless) college isn't important anymore. As Elon Musk said, having a degree only says that you might be worthy. But it's only about information. And you learn new things everyday. Want to be successful? Do whatever interests you, and just get into it. You don't need to have a college degree to do it. And the internet can be one of those ways. Just get out there and get exploring. And you can of course use the internet if you ever have questions, like Google or YouTube. And if you have no idea what you have a interest in, try new things. And you'll find what you love to do.
